CLINICAL TRIAL ELIGIBILITY WITH PARTIALLY-KNOWN INFORMATION
===========================================================

USAGE:
------
- Load clinicalTrail-validation-data.owl into your ontology editor or reasoner. This ontology imports the other two. You may have to indicate the local path to the two other ontologies.
- Use an OWL-compatible classifier to infer the type of patient instances p0 to p8. The patients who are not inferred to be formally included nor excluded are potentially eligible, pending additional information is gained on some of the criteria.

FILES:
------
- clinicalTrail.owl root file for representing clinical trial eligibility. Only contains three classes. Intentionally simple.
- clinicalTrail-validation.owl file representing a simple clinical trial used for validation. It is composed of two inclusion (C_I0 and C_I1) and two exclusion (C_E0 and C_E1) criteria. It contains the classes representing formal inclusion and formal exclusion. This ontology imports clinicalTrail.owl.
- clinicalTrail-validation-data.owl file representing the set of nine fictitious patients (p0 to p8) covering all the possible combination of inclusion and exclusion criteria, some of whom having unknown values for C_I1 or C_E1. This ontology imports clinicalTrail-validation.owl.
